I chose to work at Christian Unified because I wanted to be part of a like-minded community and help children grow in their relationship with God.
My purpose is to build the kingdom of God by training His ambassadors. I love to read, talk walks around my mountain home, garden, and play piano.
I have a love for God and his Word, family time, camping (travel trailering), reading, learning, and being around people that challenge and grow me. Oh, and being in a flash mob is on my bucket list.
I want to teach where Christ is not simply acknowledged, but central to every lesson, every relationship, and every life being shaped.
Matthew 6:34--“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
God has given us an amazing world to inhabit. I love studying the complicated yet harmonious ways in which it works, and I consider it a great privilege to be able to share this joy with others through teaching.
I want to impact our students' lives. I love how sports can teach us major life lessons.
I love that I get to talk about God in my classroom freely and openly.
I’m excited to be in a place where I can share the love of Christ daily, help students grow in their faith, and partner with families who value a biblical foundation for learning.
I consider Christian Education to be one of the Lord's highest callings and most effective tools for the transformation of generations and culture.
I am passionate about being part of a child’s academic journey and watching them grow mentally, physically, and emotionally. I also feel called to walk alongside them in their spiritual growth. Finding Christ transformed my life in countless ways, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help students experience that same hope and joy. I believe Christian Unified is the best place to nurture both minds and hearts, and I’m blessed to be part of this community.
I love working at a school that emphasis the necessity and importance of Christ in all we do.
Matthew 5:16—"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
I am originally from a small town in Wisconsin, and grew up there for 16 years. I have lived in San Diego now for 7 years. In my free time I love creating art, drinking coffee, listening to music, going for runs, hiking, playing tennis, and going on trips! My husband Josh and I have been married since August 2022 and we live in Mira Mesa with our dog Snoopy. I am blessed to be able to do what I love, teaching at a Christian school.
I am a Christian High School Alum, Class of 2020 and yes, we did graduate in the parking lot. I went on to play Division I softball at New Mexico State University where I graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
