TUITION GRANT PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE TUITION GRANT PROGRAM?

An education at Christian Unified may be one of the most important investments a family can make in their child’s future.

Through the generosity of alumni and friends of Christian Unified, our Tuition Grant Program helps make this possible. This program provides tuition assistance to families who demonstrate financial need, allowing more students to experience a Christian education grounded in biblical truth.

A tuition grant is different from a scholarship. Scholarships are typically based on academic or athletic achievement, while tuition grants are awarded solely on the basis of financial need. Through this program, many families who might otherwise find private education out of reach are able to join the Christian Unified community.

Christian Unified partners with FACTS Financial Aid Management to assist in evaluating each family’s financial situation. This confidential process helps our school determine a family’s ability to contribute toward tuition and ensures that assistance is distributed in a fair and thoughtful way.

Our heart is to partner with families who desire a Christ-centered education for their children. Through the Tuition Grant Program, we seek to make that opportunity available to as many families as possible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your family’s financial situation is the best indicator of financial need. If the full cost of tuition would create an undue financial burden for your family, we encourage you to apply. The Tuition Grant Program exists to help make a Christian Unified education possible for families who desire it for their children. If you are unsure whether your family would qualify, we still encourage you to apply.

At this time, tuition grants are not available for families with only one student entering TK. However, families with multiple students enrolled in Christian Unified may be eligible to apply.
Click here to apply through FACTS Financial Aid Management website.

If you have questions or would like assistance during the application process, please contact our Business Office office at 619-201-8813 or send an email to tuitiongrants@christianunified.org. Our team is happy to help guide you through the process.
Families who receive tuition grants must reapply each year in order to be considered for continued assistance. Each application is reviewed annually and evaluated based on a family’s current financial situation and demonstrated need.
While we strive to provide as much assistance as possible, we believe that families should participate in the cost of their child’s education whenever possible. For this reason, every family receiving a tuition grant contributes a portion of the tuition. The amount varies depending on each family’s financial circumstances.
Tuition grants apply only to tuition. They do not cover other costs such as the enrollment fee, uniforms, or extracurricular activities.
