ELEMENTARY

OUR TEACHERS

Teaching a Biblical worldview in school begins with dedicated Christian educators. Integrating biblical principles into all curriculum, teachers emphasize daily that God is Truth and that His Word is the primary source of knowledge. Eliminating the confusion about who we are and why we are here paves the way for a life of assurance and devotion to God.

stem program

Our STEM program is an important part of our Science courses. Each student in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade has the opportunity to experience hands-on lessons that extend the subject matter being studied in Scienceโ€“ integrating Technology, Engineering and Math for unforgettable and fun learning experiences that make the concepts being studied come alive.

teaching strategies

Our elementary teachers use a blend of direct instruction, group learning, project-based learning, and differentiated instruction to best meet the learning needs of our students. We understand that each child learns differently, and we work to meet the individual needs of our studentsย whenever possible.ย  We integrate technology into our lessons as a support to the primary methods of teaching, and to maximize learning opportunities.

MAP ASSESSMENTS

Our school uses the NWEA MAP assessment twice yearly in 1stย through 9thย grade to track individual student growth of students in Math, Reading, and Language. This enables the teachers to pinpoint strengths and growth areas and personalize learning to maximize learning opportunities.
