It is more my nature to teach Biblical truths with academics. I want to be able to incorporate Biblical truths into every lesson, every interaction, every opportunity with students. I want to be in a position where I can help foster a relationship between the Lord and my students and teach in an environment that encompasses the whole child. At Christian, students are known. They are not just occupying a seat, they are recognized, prayed for and cared for.
Christian Unified Schools is a place where Christ is preeminent. I wanted to work alongside a community that supported my love for teaching English and my passion for ministering to the hearts of students in order to build the kingdom of God.
It is my passion to develop and encourage students. God led us to Christian Unified several years ago. I love to inspire students with God's word through the art of cooking, baking, sewing, child development and interior design.
I choose to work for Christian Unified because I love to serve our community and to pour the Word and love of Jesus into the hearts and minds of the little ones.
I teach because the Lord has called me to use my story and testimony to reach and hopefully inspire our youth to be a light in a world of darkness.
I believe that God causes all things to work together for good and His purpose (Romans 8:28). It is this belief that brings me to teach at Christian Unified. I am excited to share my faith, love of learning, and experience as a teacher to the students of Christian Junior and Senior High.
I chose to work at Christian Unified because I wanted to be part of a like-minded community and help children grow in their relationship with God.
My purpose is to build the kingdom of God by training His ambassadors. I love to read, talk walks around my mountain home, garden, and play piano.
I have a love for God and his Word, family time, camping (travel trailering), reading, learning, and being around people that challenge and grow me. Oh, and being in a flash mob is on my bucket list.
Matthew 6:34--“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
God has given us an amazing world to inhabit. I love studying the complicated yet harmonious ways in which it works, and I consider it a great privilege to be able to share this joy with others through teaching.
I want to impact our students' lives. I love how sports can teach us major life lessons.
I love that I get to talk about God in my classroom freely and openly.
