Sadie Hawkins 2025: A Great Day at Summer’s Past Farms
This year’s Sadie Hawkins event at Summer’s Past Farms was a fun and relaxed afternoon for CHS students to enjoy good food, games, and time together in a beautiful setting.
Young ladies packed picnic lunches for their dates, with some going all out—there was even a charcuterie board! Along with their homemade meals, they enjoyed coffee, tea, smoothies, and Hostess treats provided at the event. The farm’s peaceful atmosphere made it a great spot to sit back, eat, and take plenty of pictures.
After lunch, students played spike ball, football, and bean-bag toss, while others wandered through the gift shop or walked around taking in the scenery. Whether competing in a game or just catching up with friends, there was something for everyone to enjoy. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event happen! Sadie Hawkins 2025 was a memorable afternoon, and we’re looking forward to another great time next year.

Spiritual Emphasis Week 2025
At Christian Jr/Sr High School, Spiritual Emphasis Week is always a powerful time of renewal, reflection, and worship, and this year was no exception. From February 18-21, guest speaker Algernon Tennyson led students through a transformative journey centered on the theme “Rise Up” AWAKEN for Kingdom Impact. Each day, students gathered in chapel for four sessions filled with dynamic messages, heartfelt worship, and intentional time in God’s Word. Algernon’s powerful teaching challenged students to deepen their faith, live boldly for Christ, and embrace their calling to make an impact for the Kingdom. With notebooks open and hearts engaged, students eagerly took notes, absorbing biblical truth and practical wisdom for their daily lives.

Honoring Our Heroes: 2024 Veterans Day Chapel
Our 2024 Veterans Day Chapel was a meaningful time of reflection and gratitude as we honored the men and women who have served our country.
Jeremy Stalnecker, co-founder of the Mighty Oaks Foundation and a U.S. Marine Corps Combat Iraq veteran, delivered a powerful message on resilience. He shared how true resilience requires character, which is built through the wisdom and guidance of godly people who help us grow and prepare for the hardships of life.
The Christian High School choir and band filled the Event Center with patriotic selections, setting the tone for a heartfelt tribute. One of the most touching moments of the morning was when our TK students presented the veterans in attendance with handmade thank-you cards, a small but meaningful gesture of appreciation.
It was a privilege to recognize and celebrate our veterans, thanking them for their service and sacrifice. May we continue to honor their legacy by living lives of faith, character, and resilience.
