Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Why do you work for Christian Unified?
I consider Christian Education to be one of the Lord’s highest callings and most effective tools for the transformation of generations and culture. Christian Unified Schools of San Diego are uniquely positioned to faithfully partner with and serve the families of San Diego in the Christian education of their children. Our direct association with Shadow Mountain Community Church and the leadership of Pastor David Jeremiah allows a clarity of mission that is a great blessing in this era. It’s an honor to serve with the wonderful people of CUSSD!
Interesting Facts
I married a Christian High alum – Lee Anne (Biggers) Ruhlman – Class of 1988! We were married in 1994 at Shadow Mountain Community Church. We are blessed to have three wonderful daughters, a son-in-law and a cute little maltipoo named Ruby. After 28 years in the Seattle area we are loving being back in San Diego. I enjoy church and school activities, the flora and fauna of Southern California, paddles on Mission Bay, history, and rooting on the Seattle Mariners (AL) and the San Diego Padres (NL). I enjoy visiting stadiums around the Major Leagues and have been to 20 of the 30 ballparks. My favorites are Fenway Park, PNC Park, Petco Park, Wrigley Field and T-Mobile Park. My favorite musicians are Rich Mullins and James Taylor.
