Why do you work for Christian Unified?
My heart is to glorify God by teaching and creating excellent music and seeing students’ lives transformed by God’s love through discovering the reality of a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Interesting Facts
I love to surf and skateboard, to read Christian apologetics books, and to spend time with my wife Natalie and four children, Jonah, Jude, Ezra, and Azalea-Mae. I compose orchestral and chamber music and my main instruments are piano, violin, viola, mandolin, percussion (marching and concert), bass guitar, and drum set.

Experience
I began teaching private music lessons in 2007 and started my career as a full-time teacher in 2011. I was the Music Director at East Linn Christian Academy in Lebanon, OR, the Band Director at Foothill Christian Schools in Glendora, CA, the Drumline-Percussion Instructor at Pomona High School, Band and Orchestra Director at Willamette Christian School in Euguene, OR, and have taught Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Symphony Orchestra at CUSSD since 2024. I also have taught music theory and musicology at University of Oregon and Azusa Pacific University.
