Young Americans for Freedom Starts the Year Out with Flags for 9/11

By Diego Duarte
For 9/11, Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) displayed 2,977 flags as part of their Never Forget Project. This gesture honored those who were murdered by the terrorists that day. YAF is a conservative activist group with chapters throughout the country in high schools and on college campuses. They aim to promote ideals such as individual freedom, limited government, strong national defense, the free market, and traditional values that have shaped the United States.

Throughout the school year, through events planned each month, students will have the opportunity to learn and understand the core tenets that make America remarkable. Meetings will be held in room 200 of the North Ed. Building on the first Thursday of every month.
