This past April, Christian High School’s upperclassmen enjoyed a unique event that will be a memory for many years to come – this year’s Junior/Senior Banquet was held in the Ultimate Skybox, overlooking Petco Park. Here, students got to enjoy a Padre game from high up in our city’s beautiful skyline. They enjoyed time with friends, a fun dinner, and a stunning view.
English teacher, Mrs. Breeden, gave her famous senior poem to the graduating class, who eagerly waited for their name to be mentioned in it. It is a tradition that never disappoints!
Afterward, election results for the king and queen of the senior class were announced, crowing Diego Davies as king and Sarah Chiasson as senior queen. To end the night, the seniors passed the torch to the junior class as they participated in a candle ceremony where each junior had a candle that was lit by a senior candle. Seniors then gave their younger counterparts some advice and some wisdom as they head on into senior year.
It was a beautiful and memorable event surrounded by friends, loved teachers, and panoramic views of America’s Finest City – a night that made these students feel on top of the world.
