The Summer Mailing for the Junior High and High School, with all the forms for next year, was sent out the week of June 21st. If you are an enrolled student for the 2010-2011 term, and did not receive the mailing, please contact Kathy Alesi via email. The elementary school mailing is due to be sent the week of July 12th. If you do not receive yours by the 16th, please email your site secretary.
Prospective Families! The next Information Night will be Tuesday, July 20th at 6:30 in the Little Campus Theater. (2100 Greenfield Drive, left past the security booth and drive all the way up the hill.) Applications are still being accepted for the 2010-2011 School Year. Congratulations to the staff of the "Genesis"! For the second consecutive year, the CHS "Genesis" newspaper earned a first place ribbon at the San Diego County Fair. It is only the fourth time in CHS (one of the smallest schools in the competition) history that the newspaper won the top award. Kudos to Mr. Johnson and his newspaper staff for eearning this award.
CHS Choir Alumni Reunion and Concert
If you were ever in any of the choirs at CHS or just wished you had been, you are invited to a reunion concert on July 24th from 9:00 to 5:00 with a concert at 7:00 that evening. Community Service Hours Requirement: Be sure to keep abreast of the additions to the Servant Leadership Calendar. There have been several service opportunities added to the calendar. Remember, Freshmen are required to serve ten hours of community service, Sophomores are required to serve 15 hours and Juniors 20 hours during the school year. Parents, PTF Meetings are held monthly at each campus. Come get involved!
- PTF at Christian Elementary West meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 8 to 9:30 am in Room 14
- PTF at Christian Elementary East meets the 4th Monday of the month from 1 to 2:30 pm in the Kindergarten room
- PTF at Christian Junior and Senior High meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 8:00 am in the Gym Lobby. (Exceptions because of holidays and HST trip will be February 4th, March 4th, and April 1st, first Thursdays). The December meeting has been canceled.
