A. To receive the I-20, there are two steps: (You must do Steps 1 and 2)
Step 1: Apply: (Initial acceptance eligibility is assessed after receiving the first 7 items)
- Application fee: $450 for grade 1-12 (add $20.00 if wiring money)
- Application for Admission Form
- Copy of Passport Page (must be valid for at least 6 months prior to entry)
- Transcripts with translation (subjects, hours, and grades) in English! See Transcript Guidelines
- Affidavit of Support for Sponsor
- Bank Statement of Sponsor in English (must match Affidavit of Support Sponsor)
- California School Immunization Record in English (must include dates) See Immunization Requirements. Attention: California requires 2nd Varicella if first immunization is given after the 13th birthday
Step 2a: Commit: (For the I-20 to be processed and mailed)
Step 2b: Finish Application Forms
- Student Commitment Form
- Packet of Questionnaires:

(A) Student Questionnaire
(B) Parent Questionnaire
(C) Teacher Questionnaire
(D) Character Recommendation - Go to the doctor to clear any missing Immunizations
- Students in grades 9-12 participating in after-school athletics need to download the Instructions for Athletic Eligibility
B. Apply for Interview at Embassy for the Student Visa. (Additional guidelines mailed with the I-20)

IMPORTANT: Never enter the United States on a tourist visa if you intend to attend school.
If you enter on a B-1/B-2 visa, make sure it says “Prospective Student” on the visa page.
